A small group of Danish statisticians, spearheaded by Henrik Støvring, have for unclear reasons put a lot of effort into discrediting Bandim Health Project’s randomized trials on non-specific effects of vaccines. The statisticians adhere to an old-fashioned dichotomized view of p-values and ignore all the evidence from observational studies and from independent research groups. The Society invited Christine Benn to meet Støvring for a scientific discussion.
